Winston Partner Named Vice Chair Of ABA Real Property Section

Christine L. Albright, a partner in the international law firm Winston & Strawn LLP, has been named Vice Chair of the American Bar Association's Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section during the association's recent annual meeting.

Ms. Albright has served on the Council of the ABA Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section for the past six years, and will serve as part of the section's officer leadership for the next four years. The section, which alternates its leadership between the two distinct practice areas of real property and probate and trust law, is a leading national forum for lawyers who practice in these fields.

Ms. Albright is the head of the Trust and Estates Department at Winston. She focuses her practice on estate planning, trust and estate administration, estate and gift taxation, income taxation of estates and trusts and succession planning for closely held and family businesses. She is an active member of numerous legal and industry organizations and an adjunct professor at Northwestern University School of Law Graduate Tax Program.


Winston & Strawn has announced that it has added Mark A. de Bernardo to the firm's Washington, DC office as a partner in its Labor and Employment Relations Department. A former senior partner and board of directors member at Littler Mendelson, Mr. de Bernardo joins the nearly 100 lawyers in Winston & Strawn's labor, employment, employee benefits, and executive compensation practice areas.

His clients have included more than 30 of the Fortune 200 corporations; five federal branch agencies; the states of Kansas, Louisiana and California; the governments of Japan, Spain, and the Bahamas; the U.S. House of Representatives, and nearly 20 national trade associations.
