Pfizer Inc; Prudential Financial, Inc.; United Technologies Corporation; Steven M. Edwards of Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan; and Hogan Lovells US LLP were honored with the Pro Bono Partnership Champion Award

Pro Bono Partnership announced that it raised nearly $1.4 million to provide free business legal assistance to hundreds of nonprofit organizations in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut through its Gala held on Wednesday, October 18, at Cipriani 42nd Street in Manhattan. 

Jack Ford, CBS News Correspondent for 60 Minutes Sports and Co-Host, Metro Focus for PBS, New York, hosted the event. Pro Bono Partnership presented the Champion Award in recognition of their service to the community and outstanding commitment to pro bono to corporate honorees Pfizer IncPrudential Financial, Inc.; and United Technologies Corporation and individual and law firm honorees Steven M. Edwards of Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan and Hogan Lovells US LLP. The evening’s Dinner Chairs were: Charles D. Gill, Executive Vice President and General Counsel, United Technologies Corporation; Timothy P. Harris, Executive Vice President and General Counsel, Prudential Financial, Inc.; Stephen J. Immelt, Chief Executive Officer, Hogan Lovells US LLPRady Johnson, Executive Vice President, Chief Compliance and Risk Officer, Pfizer Inc; Sara E. Moss, Executive Vice President and General Counsel, The Estée Lauder Companies.
