Nearly every workplace now has a social media use policy. This new class takes you through a sample social media policy, section-by-section, explaining what should be included and what should not be included. You will learn about recent cases that show how employers get into trouble due to their social media use policies (or lack of policies). Our faculty also discuss National Labor Relations Board actions against employers, unionized and non-unionized, whose social media policies violate the National Labor Relations Act. Course materials include sample provisions and policies, as well as case summaries.
