King & Spalding has announced that it has established an office in Silicon Valley and will open a second California office in San Francisco. The offices will focus initially on the firm's strengths in intellectual property, FDA/healthcare, tort litigation, private equity, real estate capital markets, government and internal investigations, business litigation and energy.
Courtland L. Reichman, King & Spalding's intellectual property practice group leader, is relocating to California from the firm's Atlanta office to become the managing partner of the Silicon Valley and San Francisco offices.
Jeffrey M. Telep, a partner in King & Spalding's International Trade Group, recently was appointed to serve a five-year term at the United States Court of International Trade's Rules Advisory Committee. At King and Spalding, Mr. Telep's practice focused on international trade remedy litigation and compliance.
