King & Spalding Announces Offices In Silicon Valley And San Francisco

King & Spalding has announced that it has established an office in Silicon Valley and will open a second California office in San Francisco. The offices will focus initially on the firm's strengths in intellectual property, FDA/healthcare, tort litigation, private equity, real estate capital markets, government and internal investigations, business litigation and energy.

Courtland L. Reichman, King & Spalding's intellectual property practice group leader, is relocating to California from the firm's Atlanta office to become the managing partner of the Silicon Valley and San Francisco offices.

Jeffrey M. Telep, a partner in King & Spalding's International Trade Group, recently was appointed to serve a five-year term at the United States Court of International Trade's Rules Advisory Committee. At King and Spalding, Mr. Telep's practice focused on international trade remedy litigation and compliance.

K&S has announced that Dwight J. Davis, a senior litigation partner in the firm's Atlanta and New York offices, has become a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers. Mr. Davis is one of the nation's leading authorities in consumer class actions, with particular emphasis in suits involving the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries.
