WolfBlock has announced that John M. Loalbo has joined the firm as partner in the Private Client Services and Business Litigation Practice Groups and will be resident in the firm's Roseland, NJ office.
Mr. Loalbo concentrates his practice on probate and trust litigation. He also handles estate and trust planning and administration, general partnership and corporate matters and negotiations with federal district and tax court, the Internal Revenue Service, the New Jersey Tax Court and the New Jersey Division of Taxation. Mr. Loalbo represents numerous high net worth individuals and corporate executives, banks and other financial institutions in the planning, litigation and administration of large estates and trusts.
Mr. Loalbo was previously the host tax attorney on "Accumulating Wealth" and the resident tax attorney on "Money on the Line," both which air on WPAT-AM radio. He was also a guest tax attorney on "Money Talks" on WRDR-FM. Mr. Loalbo has lectured on estate and trust planning and administration for financial institutions and Rutgers University, among others.
In the pro bono realm, Mr. Loalbo prevailed in the New Jersey Supreme Court as amicus curiae in C.I.C. Corp., et al. v. Township of East Brunswick, a case involving the protection of minors and a municipal ban on cigarette machines. He has provided advice and counsel to the state of New Jersey and numerous municipalities regarding the same issues involved in this case.
