Joyce A. Kuhns, a partner in the Bankruptcy and Restructuring Department of Saul Ewing LLP, was honored recently for her completion of an eight-month leadership development program sponsored by Leadership Maryland.
Ms. Kuhns and 51 fellow graduates of Leadership Maryland's 15th class celebrated at a black-tie reception and banquet last month at the Renaissance Harborplace Hotel in Baltimore.
Leadership Maryland is an independent, educational leadership development organization, which informs top legal executives from the public and private sectors about the critical issues, challenges, and opportunities facing Maryland and surrounding regions.
"These are the leaders to watch, now, and in the future," said Leadership Maryland President Nancy Minieri. "Their experience confirms that the quality of leadership affects the success of the solutions. Problems are solved when committed, dynamic leaders with vision and passion are willing to take the risk to lead."
Ms. Kuhns was named to the Bankruptcy and Creditor-Debtor Rights Law section of Woodward/White's Best Lawyers in America list for 2007, and has been recognized in the Who's Who in Bankruptcy law list by the Baltimore Business Journal.
