The firm of Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP has announced the election of 20 new partners, in addition to the appointment of seven attorneys to the position of counsel, all effective January 1.
A spokesperson for Weil Gotshal said that this partnership class was one of the most diverse in the firm's history, representing all major departments of the firm, as well as twelve major practice areas, and the firm's global geography. The election also signified the expansion of the flex-time partner policy inaugurated by Weil Gotshal with last year's partnership class.
