Cozen O'Connor Receives Citizens Bank Pro Bono Award

Cozen O'Connor has been honored with the 2007 Philadelphia Bar Association Citizens Bank Pro Bono Award. Presented by Citizens Bank of Pennsylvania, the Philadelphia Bar Association and the Philadelphia Bar Foundation, this award recognizes a Philadelphia law firm that has demonstrated dedication to delivering pro bono legal services in and around the City and County of Philadelphia; making significant contributions toward the development of innovative approaches to the delivery of volunteer legal services; participating in activities which satisfy previously unmet legal needs for the underserved; successfully litigating pro bono cases that favorably affect the provision of services to the indigent; handling significant amounts of pro bono activity; and participating in a wide range of pro bono commitments and experience.

Cozen O'Connor is a signatory to the Pro Bono Institute's Law Firm Pro Bono Challenge and encourages all of its attorneys to devote at least 60 hours of pro bono work annually. Each attorney's time value in handling pro bono matters is treated as full production credit for up to 50 hours annually.
