Nixon Peabody LLP has announced the opening of an office in London, England, through the affiliated entity Nixon Peabody International LLP.
The office is opening with seven lawyers (including three UK qualified partners) who practice primarily in the areas of leveraged and project finance, and corporate trust. In addition, the London office will serve as an international hub for the firm's transactional and international arbitration lawyers and their clients with international needs.
Most recently, Nixon Peabody has secured a significant deal managing the financing for a European joint venture of a leading international producer and marketer of beverage alcohol brands and also represents one of the leading investors in the London leveraged loan market. Additionally, the firm was just mandated by the London office of a leading German bank to represent its interest in leveraged loan investments.

Nixon Peabody has announced the opening of its permanent Silicon Valley office location. The new office space on 200 Page Mill Road, Palo Alto, CA, in the heart of Silicon Valley, is part of the firm's commitment to strengthen its reach on the West Coast.
In February, Nixon Peabody LLP announced its expansion into Silicon Valley. The firm brought in a group of business attorneys and operated from temporary space in Palo Alto while searching for a permanent location. Nixon Peabody has announced the expansion of its Washington, DC office with the addition of Susan E. D. Neuberg and Lloyd Spencer as partners. Ms. Neuberg is in the firm's real estate practice group while Mr. Spencer joins the public company transactions group.
