Gibbons has announced the opening of its new office in Wilmington, DE. With five offices in four states, Gibbons has continued to expand its presence in the region.
The Wilmington office will focus on business and commercial litigation, products liability and financial restructuring and creditors' rights matters, and will eventually expand to become a full-service office.
"Ten years ago this month we opened our first New York office and two years ago we opened our first Philadelphia office; both offices today have grown to more than 40 attorneys serving our clients in a variety of different practice areas," said Patrick C. Dunican Jr., managing director of Gibbons. "The firm's new Wilmington office will follow a similar model - to serve our existing clients in a new geographic region and grow to become a full-service office through the acquisition of talented attorneys."
The office will be located at 1000 North West Street, Suite 1200, Wilmington, DE 19801. William R. Firth, III, who is currently headquartered in the firm's Philadelphia office, will move to Wilmington to manage the office.
Mr. Firth concentrates his practice in commercial litigation and bankruptcy matters. Prior to joining Gibbons, Mr. Firth practiced in the Philadelphia and Wilmington, DE offices of a national law firm where he represented clients in financial restructuring and bankruptcy litigation matters and in the Philadelphia office of an international law firm where he represented clients in various complex commercial litigation matters.
