Akerman Senterfitt LLP continues to expand its New York office with the addition of Harvey Feldschreiber, who joins the firm's national real estate and corporate practices as a shareholder.
Mr. Feldschreiber's practice is focused on sophisticated real estate transactions, including the representation of owners of major office buildings, retail outlets and shopping centers throughout the United States. He represents tenants in lease negotiations for New York City office and retail space and major lease transactions outside the New York area.
Akerman Senterfitt's national real estate practice represented Syracuse, New York-based Pyramid Companies in connection with Pyramid's creation of a commercial condominium structure at the Berkshire Mall, a major regional shopping center in Massachusetts. The transaction is believed to be the first condominium structure put in place post-securitization of a mortgage loan. Miami-based real estate attorney Anthony Casareale led the negotiations of the deal, assisted by Akerman associate Dan Faust.
