Eisner Promotes Four To Partnership

Eisner LLP, accountants and advisors, announces the promotion of four accountants to partnership in the firm. They are Jay Bakst, CPA; John P. Fodera, CPA; Michael R. McMurtry, CPA, and Andrea Will, CPA, CA.

Mr. Bakst, in Eisner's tax advisory services group, offers more that 15 years of experience in business and individual tax planning and compliance. He is extensively involved in the firm's cross-border private equity practice, consulting on various issues relating to international mergers, acquisitions and dispositions and providing a full range of compliance services for onshore and offshore investors and investments.

Mr. Fodera works in Eisner's Internal Audit and Risk Management Services (ARMS) group, which focuses on delivering SOX 404 consulting and audit services. He has more than 20 years of audit, accounting and business management experience, including extensive experience with strategic planning, budgeting and process re-engineering.

Mr. McMurtry, in Eisner's technical services group, is responsible for consulting and leading discussions on the application of accounting principles, auditing standards and regulations of the SEC to the firm's clients, partners and staff. He has more than 20 years of experience in technical consulting, auditing, accounting and tax services. His expertise includes initial public offerings, SEC filings, compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting for derivative instruments.

Ms. Will, in Eisner's financial services practice, brings more than 20 years experience to the firm and her clients, which include hedge funds, private equity funds, investment advisors and broker-dealers. She has developed considerable expertise working with complex financial instruments including derivatives, PIPES (private investments in public entities) and commodities, as well as in the infrastructure and fund raising elements of start-up funds.
