Loeb & Loeb LLP has announced that Warren MacRae will join the firm's New York office as a partner in the firm's Intellectual Property Litigation Group. He joins the firm from Bryan Cave LLP's New York office.

Mr. MacRae brings with him a strong background in chemical patent matters, with particular emphasis in the areas of pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, polymer technology and food chemistry.

While much of his practice is devoted to patent litigation and litigating interferences, Mr. MacRae regularly counsels clients in the areas of patent validity, infringement and enforceability. In addition, he represents clients before the United State Patent and Trademark Office, focusing on prosecution and appeals in strategically important patent applications. Mr. MacRae successfully prosecuted Natta et al., US Patent No. 6,365,687, entitled "Process for the Polymerization of Certain Unsaturated Hydro Carbons" which claims Nobel Prize-winning Ziegler-Natta catalyst systems and was pending for nearly 50 years.
