Ballard Expands Phoenix Office

Ballard Spahr Andrews & Ingersoll, LLP continues the expansion of its Phoenix office with the addition of partners Julie A. Pace and David A. Selden, of counsel Eva Shih Herrera, and associates Jodi Hill and Heidi Nunn-Gilman, all formerly of Ogletree Deakins.

William Hicks and Nancy Lashnits, formerly of Snell & Wilmer, also have joined the firm as partners in the Phoenix office in the Public Finance Department.

Ms. Pace and Mr. Selden are prominent Phoenix lawyers with a national reputation. Ms. Pace focuses her practice on employment, OSHA, construction and litigation. Mr. Selden practices in the areas of class action defense, governmental affairs, labor and employment, litigation, workplace safety and health, and construction.

Ms. Herrera focuses on employment litigation, including discrimination, retaliation, harassment, whistleblower, and other claims under federal and state employment laws. Ms. Nunn-Gilman focuses on employment litigation and human resource matters, and Ms. Hill represents clients in all aspects of labor and employment law.

Mr. Hicks, who is widely recognized as one of the top public finance attorneys in Arizona, practices in the areas of tax-exempt finance, and general corporate law and finance. Ms. Lashnits, a former attorney in the Office of Chief Counsel in the Internal Revenue Service, focuses her practice on federal income tax, municipal financing and low income housing tax credits.
