James R. Case, a former judge of both Clearwater, FL (winter) and Whitefish, MT (summer), recently joined the National Arbitration Forum's national panel of independent and neutral arbitrators and mediators.

Judge Case adds to the National Arbitration Forum's panel of more than 1,500 neutrals. Panelists adhere to ethical and legal standards, follow stringent rules to ensure that parties' rights are protected, and uphold all ethical principles. Many neutrals have focused experience in specific industries, easing the comprehension and evaluation of details in even the most complex legal disputes. Judge Case has specific expertise in business and commercial, construction, domain names, employment and labor and medical malpractice.

After serving 25 years on the bench, Mr. Case focuses on alternative dispute resolution. He is a certified mediator for the State of Florida and is a state-wide qualified arbitrator and trial resolution judge. Most recently, he was named the John U. Bird Distinguished Jurist by the Clearwater Bar Association for his "high ideals, personal character, judicial competence and service."
