J. Kate Stickles, a partner in Saul Ewing LLP's Bankruptcy and Restructuring Department, has been appointed the firm's new marketing partner, effective immediately. In this capacity, Ms. Stickles will oversee the firm's 14-member Marketing Department.
Ms. Stickles has experience in complex Chapter 11 reorganization and liquidation cases, and practices in many aspects of bankruptcy, representing debtors, unsecured creditors' committees, equity committees, trustees and secured and unsecured creditors. She represents reorganized debtors, committees and trusts in bankruptcy related litigation, including preference actions and fraudulent conveyance actions.
Marc A. Citron, a partner in Saul Ewing LLP's Real Estate and Business departments, has been appointed managing partner of the firm's Princeton, NJ office. In this capacity, Mr. Citron will oversee 24 attorneys who currently represent local and national clients in corporate, creditors' rights and loan workouts, environmental, estates and trusts, healthcare, insurance, litigation and real estate law.
Mr. Citron's practice includes a broad range of commercial real estate matters, as well as business-related transactions.
Saul Ewing has announced that Raymond D. Agran has joined the firm as partner in the Business Department, with a practice focusing on mergers and acquisitions and securities law.
Mr. Agran brings to Saul Ewing 25 years of corporate and commercial work experience, representing publicly traded and privately held companies, their founding entrepreneurs, and those investing in them. In addition to his M&A and securities work, Mr. Agran will be a member of the Life Sciences, Venture Capital/Private Equity and Intellectual Property and Technology practice groups.
