Stradley Ronon partner and ADR Practice Group Chair Bennett G. Picker was recently reappointed as Mediator of the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) for a four-year term (2007-2010).
Headquartered in Lausanne, Switzerland, CAS is recognized as the exclusive agency for the resolution of sports-related disputes by 31 international sports federations, including the International Olympics Committee.
Mr. Picker is a Fellow of the International Academy of Mediators and a member of the CPR Panel of Distinguished Neutrals. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Civil Trial Mediators and serves on the board of directors of the American Arbitration Association.
