McKenna Long & Aldridge LLP has announced the expansion of its government and regulatory affairs practice in California by opening an office in Sacramento, the state capital.
Joining the California arm of the firm's Government Affairs practice is Richard Costigan III, deputy chief of staff and legislative affairs secretary for Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger. Mr. Costigan, who will serve as a managing director, brings 10 years of experience in the California public policy arena. He joins managing director Jeffrey Miller, former senior vice president of government and industry affairs for ACC Capital Holdings Corporation. In the Sacramento office as well is Katherine Bell, a senior adviser specializing in legislative, regulatory and procurement matters.
