Ballard Spahr Andrews & Ingersoll, LLP continues its expansion by opening a Bethesda, MD office with the addition of partners Roger Winston, Timothy Martin, and Marc DeCandia, and of counsel Shelah Lynn, formerly of Linowes and Blocher, LLP. Mr. Winston is a prominent Montgomery County, Maryland lawyer with a national reputation as counsel to real estate developers, builders and lenders.
Mr. Martin practices in the area of real estate acquisitions and sales, and the development of common interest projects.
Mr. DeCandia concentrates his practice on condominium/community association development law and representation of homeowner and developer controlled condominiums and homeowners associations.
Ms. Lynn brings extensive experience representing prominent condominium and homeowners associations in the region, as well as developers of common interest communities.
Ballard Spahr is expanding its diversity program with the hiring of its first-ever director of diversity, Stacy Hawkins, who joined the firm on September 5. Ms. Hawkins' primary role will be to collaborate with the firm's Diversity Committee to design, implement, and monitor a strategic diversity plan.
