Frances Gauthier, chair of Stradley Ronon's diversity group and an attorney in the firm's Wilmington, DE office, served on the planning committee for the National Conference for the Minority Lawyer, held in Philadelphia recently. During the conference sponsored by the ABA Section of Business Law and the ABA Commission on Racial and Ethnic Diversity in the Profession, Ms. Gauthier also moderated the panel discussion, Calling YOU to Action!, where panel members discussed the challenges and successful initiatives in giving business to law firms based on diversity performance and getting business from companies committed to diversity.
Ms. Gauthier represents private and public companies in corporate and commercial matters including corporate governance, alternative entity law, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate restructurings. She serves on the executive committee of the Delaware State Bar Association and is the vice chair of special events of the Association's Multicultural Judges and Lawyers Section. Ms. Gauthier also co-chairs the American Bar Association's Section of Business Law Fellows and Ambassadors Committee, and is co-chair of the Corporate Sponsor Committee of the National Association of Women Business Owners, Delaware Chapter.
