Cozen O'Connor President and CEO Patrick J. O'Connor has been selected for fellowship in the International Academy of Trial Lawyers (IATL)

Membership in the IATL is limited to 500 fellows under the age of 70 from the United States and 100 fellows from more than 30 countries. Members are engaged in civil and criminal trial practice from both the plaintiff's and the defendant's side of the counsel table and are recognized as the most exceptional attorneys in the world.

Mr. O'Connor focuses his practice in litigation arising out of contracts, banking matters, estates, professional liability involving legal and accounting matters, health care and aviation-related claims.

Cozen O'Connor announced that the firm has hired a new chief financial officer, David W. Ellman, CPA, a seasoned financial executive with demonstrated success in managing the global finance operations of a multinational law firm. In this role, Mr. Ellman will be responsible for conducting strategic financial analysis for the firm, overseeing the firm's annual budget process and preparing cost/benefit analyses.
