Three Attorneys Join Drinker Biddle & Reath

The firm of Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP has recently welcomed three attorneys to the firm, all resident in the Philadelphia office.

Janet E. Reed, Ph.D., has joined the firm as a partner in the Intellectual Property Practice Group, focusing her practice on patents related to biotechnological inventions in medicine, agriculture and environmental sciences.

David A. Ebby has become a partner in the Real Estate Practice Group. He rejoins Drinker Biddle from Hangley Aronchick Segal & Pudlin, where he was a shareholder in the Real Estate Group.

Kenneth A. Murphy has joined the firm as a partner and focuses his practice on product liability and mass torts in the Litigation Departments. He comes to Drinker Biddle from Saul Ewing where he was a shareholder in the Commercial Litigation Practice Group and co-chair of the firm's Diversity Committee.

Drinker Biddle has moved its Chicago office to 161 North Clark Street in the Central Loop, leasing 17,400 square feet of space. According to John Dames, Drinker Biddle's partner-in-charge of the Chicago office, the new office is twice as large as the firm's previous space at 115 South LaSalle Street, serving to support the firm's expanding Chicago practice.

Drinker Biddle partner Lawrence J. Fox and Susan R. Martyn, professor of law at the University of Toledo College of Law, have co-authored Your Lawyer, a User's Guide, published by LexisNexis Bender Publications. The 100-page book is aimed at the American public with the purpose of providing the information a person should know about the ethical obligations of their lawyer.
