Scott A. Zuber, partner in Pitney Hardin llp's Bankruptcy/Creditors' Rights Group has been named a Legislative Coordinator for the Bankruptcy Law Section of the New Jersey State Bar Association (NJSBA) for 2006-2008. The NJSBA Bankruptcy Law Section provides education on creditor-debtor issues, including bankruptcies and insolvency proceedings and provides a mechanism for members of the section to easily communicate information of specific interest to bankruptcy and creditors' rights practitioners. As one of three legislative coordinators,Mr. Zuber will be responsible for reviewing pending legislation and making recommendations to the Bankruptcy Law Section leaders and the Board of Trustees of the NJSBA regarding support or opposition to items that would affectbankruptcy and creditors' rights law in New Jersey and on the federal level. A former Master in the Bankruptcy Inn of Court, Mr. Zuber handles all facets of bankruptcy practice/creditors' rights and related commercial litigation.
