Stradley Ronon Stevens & Young, LLP partner Andrew S. Levine was recently honored at the Pennsylvania Bar Institute's Environmental Law Forum in recognition of his 'outstanding service to the Section's Pro Bono Program as Program Coordinator from 1999-2006.'
Mr. Levine helped start the Pro Bono Program for the Pennsylvania Bar Association's Environmental, Mineral & Natural Resources Law Section, which provides counsel for those eligible under the program.
As chair of the Stradley Ronon's environmental practice group, Mr. Levine handles a variety of environmental regulatory, enforcement and litigation matters. He coordinates Clean Air Act strategies for facilities located in moderate and severe non-attainment areas and defends clients in enforcement matters and citizen suits under RCRA, the Endangered Species Act and the Clean Water Act. In addition, Mr. Levine provides extensive counsel on statutory and regulatory developments in the solid waste, water and air programs of several states.
Stradley Ronon attorney Thea Parent was recently appointed to the Rebecca Davis Dance Company Board of Directors. Based in Philadelphia, the dance company is a non-profit institution dedicated to educating youth in the physical techniques of various dance disciplines while building sensitivity to literary works, historical events and social issues through public performances of dance-theater.
