Norris McLaughlin & Marcus, P.A. has announced that member Daniel R. Guadalupe has been selected for inclusion in the Business Litigation section of New Jersey Super Lawyers 2006.
New Jersey Super Lawyers are selected based on a peer-review survey mailed to more than 35,000 attorneys throughout the state, a blue-ribbon panel review process, and independent research on each candidate. Only five percent of New Jersey attorneys are given this honor.
Mr. Guadalupe regularly represents individual and corporate clients in a variety of commercial litigation matters, including professional liability defense, construction litigation, international matters, probate litigation and Uniform Commercial Code matters. He has successfully defended attorneys and engineers in professional liability claims and is in the approved attorney panel for professional malpractice matters for Lloyd's of London Underwriters.
Mr. Guadalupe is a former President of the New Jersey Hispanic Bar, the current Vice President of GlassRoots, Inc. (charity), and Executive Vice President of Puerto Ricans in Management & Executive Roles (PRIMER).
Nicholas F. Pellitta, a member of Norris McLaughlin, has been named treasurer of Hunterdon Prevention Resources (HPR), as well as legal counsel to the Hunterdon County Chamber of Commerce, aiding in contract review, lease and vendor agreements, tenant issues and general legal advice. Mr. Pellitta also currently serves as a member of the HPR Board of Trustees.
