Pitney Hardin Attorney To Teach Appellate Advocacy

Pitney Hardin attorney Jeffrey S. Mandel, who appears regularly as a guest legal commentator on Court TV, CNN, Cablevision, and FOX NEWS Channel, has accepted a teaching position at Rutgers Law School-Newark. Mr. Mandel will teach appellate advocacy, which he has previously taught at Seton Hall School of Law.

Mr. Mandel's appellate experience includes a clerkship with the Appellate Division of the Superior Court of New Jersey, membership on the New Jersey State Bar Association Appellate Practice Committee, membership on the Defense Research Institute Appellate Advocacy Committee, and several oral arguments before the Supreme Court of New Jersey, including a high-profile death penalty appeal case.

Mr. Mandel is the author of Gann Law Book's New Jersey Appellate Practice , to be published this year.
