Joshua D. Shapiro has joined Stradley Ronon Stevens & Young, LLP as of counsel in the Philadelphia office. Mr. Shapiro, who is in his first term as a member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 153rd Legislative District in Montgomery County, will be a member of the firm's business law department.

Mr. Shapiro's law practice focuses on general corporate work, real estate, commercial litigation, public housing law and regulatory compliance.

Mr. Shapiro has worked in government for more than a decade, and isthe only first-term representative to serve as a member of the House Appropriations Committee. Prior to joining the State House, he served on CapitolHill in Washington, DC, and as chief of staff to former U.S. Rep. Joseph M. Hoeffel III.
