LexisNexis formally introduced version 4.0 during the recent LegalTech New York trade show and conference.

LexisNexis Total Search v.4.0 is an integrated search tool that allows researchers to use the precision searching capabilities of the lexis.comservice to simultaneously search LexisNexis content and the firm's internal collection of most relevant and useful work product. Powerful linkingbetween internal content and LexisNexis analytical and primary law materials further enhances the researcher's experience. In addition, integration of real-time Shepard's Signal indicators to both internal and external documents through LexisNexis Total Search assures legal professionals that their arguments rely on only the best precedent.

With the introduction of LexisNexis Total Search v.4.0, legal professionals are further able to leverage additional sources of internal intellectual capital through two new modules: Total Search Transactional and Total Search Expertise.

Total Search Transactional expands the reach into law firms that are looking for sophisticated internal work product solutions for their deal and transactional practice areas.
