Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease LLP has announced that Nathaniel Lampley Jr. has been namedmanaging partner of the firm's Cincinnati office.
Mr. Lampley has been with Vorys since 1992. During that time, his work as a trial lawyer has helped build the firm's litigation practice and its reputation for excellence. Mr. Lampley has worked on contract and commercial litigation as well as on labor and employment litigation, representing corporate interests in both individual and class action cases.
"Nate has established himself as an excellent communicator, a skilled strategist and a committed team player," said Robert W. Werth, managing partner of Vorys Sater. "This position recognizes those attributes and conveys our confidence in his strong leadership abilities."
As managing partner, Mr. Lampley will oversee all of the attorneys in the Cincinnati office.
Notably, Mr. Lampley is the only African American to lead a major law firm in Greater Cincinnati.
