Brown Raysman Millstein Felder & Steiner LLP has announced the opening of a Silicon Valley office.
Located in Redwood Shores, the new office expands Brown Raysman's presence in California, where the firm currently maintains a 20-attorney office in Los Angeles.
Two new Brown Raysman partners, Marc Sockol, previously with Squire Sanders, and Leah Sherry, previously with Dechert, will lead the Silicon Valley launch.
Other attorneys from Brown Raysman's New York office will join Mr. Sockol and Ms. Sherry in the new office, focusing on patent and information technology-related matters involving software, networking, financial systems, business methods, interactive television, digital rights management, pharmaceuticals and medical devices.
In 2005, theIP Law Bulletin named Brown Raysman's Intellectual Property Group as one of the fastest growing IP practices in the country.
