Capital Markets Attorney Joins Loeb & Loeb

Loeb & Loeb LLP has announced that Joseph Sverchek has joined its New York office as a partner. Mr. Sverchek is an experienced capital markets attorney who also has expertise in corporate, international, banking and financial services law.

Mr. Sverchek regularly represents sponsors and placement agents in connection with the structuring of asset-backed commercial paper (ABCP) programs in both the U.S. and Euro markets. Recently this work has involved advising with respect to alternative liquidity arrangements including extendable commercial paper notes.

Mr. Sverchek's capital markets work has also included collateralized debt obligations (CDOs), medium term notes (MTNs) and structured investment vehicles (SIVs). His capital markets transactions include both cash and synthetic securities.

His extensive asset securitization experience includes transactions involving trade receivables, equipment leases, automobile loans (including sub-prime), tax liens, automobile leases, dealer floor plan receivables and franchisee and other loan types.
