Arent Fox Names Thirteen As Partners, One As Counsel

Arent Fox has announced promotions for 14 lawyers at the firm, 13 as partners and one as counsel. The promotions were effective January 1.

The new partners include: Barbara Bettenhausen of the Real Estate Group; Thomas Castiello of the Real Estate Group; Craig Engle of the Government Relations Group; Caroline English of the Litigation Group; Barry Gogel of the Real Estate Group; David Hamill of the International Group; Murat Ozgu of the Intellectual Property Group; Scott Peeler of the Litigation Group; Joseph Price of the Litigation Group; James Ravitz of the Consumer Product Safety Group; Allison Shuren of the Health Care Group;Savalle Sims of the Litigation Group, and Jill Steinberg of the Health Care Group.

Nancy Noonan of the International Group will become a counsel.

Arent Fox recently announced that Ralph Mittelberger has joined the firm's Intellectual Property and Litigation groups as a partner in the Washington, DC, office.

Mr. Mittelberger has successfully represented foreign and domestic clients in suits involving patent, trademark and copyright infringement, unfair competition, and trade secret misappropriation, as well as in cases involving antitrust and licensing issues.

Prior to entering private practice in 1989, Mr. Mittelberger was supervisory attorney and chief of the Patent Branch of the Office of Unfair Import Investigations at the U.S. International Trade Commission.

Arent Fox also has announced that Mitchell D. Cohen and Robert M Hirsch have joined the firm's Bankruptcy and Financial Restructuring Group as partners in the New York office.
