Ballard Spahr Andrews & Ingersoll, LLP has announced that seven lawyers from Kenney & Kearney, a Cherry Hill, NJ-based law firm, joined the firm's Voorhees office, effective October 15. The group is led by Joseph H. Kenney and John B. Kearney, two litigation practitioners.
Mr. Kenney's practice focuses on all areas of complex civil litigation and alternative dispute resolution, including the representation of individuals and corporations, as both plaintiffs and defendants. Mr. Kenney has also served as an expert witness in legal malpractice cases and in the representation of lawyers and other professionals. Since 1983, Kenney has been selected to The Best Lawyers in America 2006directory by Woodward White, Inc. He is also a fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers and was selectedas a New Jersey SuperLawyerfor2005.
Mr. Kearney, similarly, has extensive experience in complex civil litigation. His work focuses on toxic tort, environmental, commercial and products liability litigation, as well as on alternative dispute resolution, including arbitration and mediation. He is secretary-elect of the product liability and toxic tort section, New Jersey State Bar Association; a fellow of the American Bar Foundation, and co-chair of the real estate, land use, and environmental law committee of the Camden County Bar Association. Mr. Kearney was also selected as a New Jersey SuperLawyerfor 2005, and is a frequent author and lecturer.
In addition to Mr. Kenney and Mr. Kearney, the other lawyers joining Ballard include William J. DeSantis, partner; Joel B. Korin, of counsel, and associates David A. Haworth, Paul F. Jenkins, and Joseph T. Ciampoli. Mr. DeSantis and Mr. Korin are experienced litigators. Mr. Korin is a fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers and was chosen as a New Jersey SuperLawyerfor 2005.
