Houston Bar Association Slates CLE seminars

The Houston Bar Association this month is planning several CLE seminars covering issues of interest to corporate counsel.

The November schedule includes:

  • Thursday, November 10, Hospital Planning for Public Health Emergencies, from 8 to 9:30 a.m. at the Junior League of Houston 1811 Briar Oaks Lane, Houston, with Glen Van Slyke, Harris County Attorney's Office, as speaker;
  • Thursday, November 17, What Every Lawyer Should Know About Employment Law, from 8 to 9:30 a.m., also at the Junior League of Houston, with Laura Gibson, Ogden, Gibson, White, Broocks & Longoria, L.L.P., as speaker;
  • Friday, November 18, Practice in the Harris County Civil District Courts in the 21st Century, from 1 to 2:30 p.m., at the Harris County Jury Assembly Room, 1019 Congress Plaza, Houston, with the Hon. John T. Woodridge, 269th District Court, and the Hon. Elizabeth Ray, 165th District Court, as speakers.
