AIG Plans Employment Seminars

Tuesday, November 1, 2005 - 01:00

For human resources managers, in-house counsel, risk managers and small business owners, employment law issues are among the most serious challenges. Because the frequency and severity of Employment Practice Liability (EPL) claims continue to rise, public and private companies of all sizes face catastrophic losses with shocking regularity. With this in mind, AIG National Union this month is planning a pair of Employment Practice Liability seminars.

The programs will take place on Tuesday, November 8 at the Grand Hyatt Atlanta in Buckhead, 3300 Peachtree Road, Atlanta, and on Wednesday, November 16 at the Ritz-Carlton Philadelphia, 10 Avenue of the Arts, Philadelphia. Sessions will run from 8:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Attendees will learn more about the trends, risk factors, and the resources and tools available to help guide them in dealing with employment-related issues. Speakers, still to be announced, will share their experiences and provide practical advice on steps companies can take to manage their risk in areas such as sexual harassment, employment class actions, and the recruitment, retaining and termination of employees.
