Fox Rothschild LLP has announced that six of its attorneys have been elected partner. They are: Elaine C. Britt, Lawrence Cohen, Frank E. Derby, Patrick H. Higgins, Burton J. Jaffe and David Restaino have been elected partners.
Ms. Britt practices primarily in the areas of estate planning, probate, estate and trust administration, and general corporate law.
Mr. Cohen concentrates his practice on securities transactional and regulatory matters, general business, and franchising/distribution relationships.
Mr. Derby maintains a broad-based general and complex commercial litigation practice with first-chair trial experience in the courts of New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania.
Mr. Higgins's practice is in the strategic positioning of discovery assets, opinion work, and in the evaluation of legal risk in the pharmaceutical industry.
Mr. Jaffe has nearly 30 years experience in financial transactions, real estate, environmental and business transactions, litigation, and condemnation law.
Mr. Restaino's practice encompasses complex commercial litigation in federal and state jurisdictions. He specializes in litigating cases with environmentally contaminated sites, and in defending and prosecuting environmental enforcement actions.
Fox Rothschild LLP recently welcomed Robert E. Schiappacasse as special counsel in the Corporate Department and resident in its Princeton office.
Mr. Schiappacasse's practice focuses on exempt offerings of securities and related Blue Sky issues and filings; the acquisition and sale of businesses; the leasing, acquisition and financing of commercial real estate; and the formation and organization of corporations and limited liability companies.Mr. Schiappacasse is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association as well as the Middlesex County Bar Association, where he serves on the Continuing Legal Education Committee.
