LexisNexis Martindale-Hubbell has created a free online service that enables its law firm customers to maximize the value of their Martindale-Hubbell listings by making quick updates to their content on martindale.com and lawyers.com.
The new Client Service Center significantly reduces the time required to make edits to a firm's professional biographies any time there is a change at the firm, such as the hiring of a new lawyer, the relocation of an office, the addition of a new practice area or simple changes to an office profile. In addition, law firms can now make quick changes to their online listings in order to respond to developments in the news that may represent emerging opportunities for client development.
According to Ann Fullenkamp, senior vice president for the small firm market at LexisNexis, many Martindale-Hubbell customers have now received email messages with confidential user names and passwords for accessing the Client Service Center (both of which can be easily reset by the customer). There are four primary types of listing changes that law firms will now be able to make in a quick and convenient manner: adding newlawyer biographies; editing existing lawyer biographies; adding new office profiles, and editing existing office profiles.
