Winston & Strawn recently announced that six lateral partners have joined its corporate practice - five in the firm's Chicago office and one in New York. Wesley G. Nissen, the lead partner in the capital markets practice group, along with Milton K. Buckingham, Basil V. Godellas, Marla J. Kreindler and Michael M. Philipp will work in the Chicago office, and Edward J. Johnson will work in the New York office.
Mr. Nissen focuses his financial services practice on the representation of asset managers of all types.
Mr. Philipp focuses his international practice on financial services with an emphasis on futures, securities and derivatives law, particularly related to transactional, regulatory and compliance issues.
Mr. Johnson focuses his practice in securities broker-dealer regulatory matters.
Ms. Kreindler concentrates her practice on the representation of institutional capital markets transactions and investment products.
Mr. Buckingham's practice focuses on legal, regulatory and compliance issues related to the asset management industry.
Mr. Godellas focuses his practice on representing companies in the financial services industry in a wide variety of regulatory and transactional matters.
