Arent Fox PLLC has seen rapid growth of its New York City office since the beginning of 2005. The firm plans to continue growing the office in the near future and is completing construction on two additional floors adjacent to its existing offices at 1675 Broadway.
Among the new attorneys in New York:
Aaron Abram and David Pfeffer join the firm as partners in the firm's construction and litigation practice. Both were previously at Barry B. LePatner and Associates, LLP. They focus their practices on resolving and litigating complex construction and design-related disputes before state and federal courts and alternative dispute resolution fora, as well as drafting and negotiating the full range of construction agreements.
Eberhard Rohm and Lee Potter join the firm as partners and Joel Cullen and Vincent Wong as associates in the International Corporate practice. The group was previously at Donahue & Partners LLP, an independent law firm allied with Ernst & Young. The group has represented both foreign and domestic companies across a broad array of industries.Mr. Rohm is a leading practitioner in German-American transactional matters. Mr. Potter recently participated in seminars in Mexico City, Buenos Aires and Tokyo on the implications of Sarbanes-Oxley and related rules for top executives of foreign companies.
Rochelle Seide joins as a partner and Michael Ciraolo as an associate in the firm's Intellectual Property Practice from Baker Botts LLP. They concentrate their practice in all facets of patent law, especially patents and transactional matters involving biotechnology, chemistry, and pharmaceuticals. Ms. Seide has a Ph.D. in Human Genetics and Mr. Ciraolo has a Ph.D. in Chemistry.
Elona Kogan joins the firm as an associate in its healthcare practice.
