Thomas D. Paradise recently was appointed general counsel of Fox Rothschild LLP. Mr. Paradise becomes one of the first full-time general counsel to be appointed to a major law firm in the region, according to the 2005 Altman Weil Flash Survey on Law Firm General Counsel.
"Recent trends in the law and the growth of the firm prompted the necessity of dedicating the time and talents of a full-time attorney to attend to firm business," said Mark Silow, firm administrative partner. "Tom's role at Fox Rothschild will include development of risk management programs and policies, management of professional liability and insurance issues and performance of ombudsman duties."
Before his assignment as general counsel, Mr. Paradise's practice had been focused primarily on legal malpractice defense and commercial litigation.
