Corporate Attorney Joins Epstein Becker

Epstein Becker & Green, P.C. (EBG) has announced that Carl G. Chernoff has joined the firm as of counsel in the firm's New York office.

Mr. Chernoff comes to EBG with 30 years of experience from The Hertz Corporation where he held several positions, first employed as senior staff corporate counsel, later promoted to staff vice president of employment practices, then to staff vice president of labor relations and employment practices, the position he held when he retired from Hertz.

During his tenure at Hertz, Mr. Chernoff was responsible for employment, civil rights and labor law litigation, in addition to serving as Hertz's chief labor negotiator.

Mr.Chernoff is an experienced corporate ombudsman, having conducted investigations and related fact-finding concerning internal and external complaints.

At his new position at EBG, Mr. Chernoff also intends to serve as an arbitrator in both the private and public sectors.
