Two Attorneys Join Arent Fox

Arent Fox PLLC has announced the additions of Lance Kotschwar and Gordon M. Taylor as senior counsel to the firm's Government Relations Practice.

Mr. Kotschwar brings wide-ranging legislative, regulatory and policy experience in the agriculture, nutrition, and natural resource fields. His previous experience includes the U.S. Senate, where he served as general counsel for Chairman Thad Cochran (R-MS) on the Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition and Forestry; the U.S. House of Representatives, where he served as chief counsel for Chairman Larry Combest (R-TX) on the Committee on Agriculture, and the U.S. Department of Agriculture, where he served in the Office of General Counsel.

Mr. Taylor focuses his practice on federal policy matters and legislative process on issues including health care, energy, information technology and international trade. Prior to joining Arent Fox, he was chief of staff for former U.S. Rep. Chris John (D-LA), where he was responsible for providing political, legislative and legal advice to the congressman as well as devising and implementing legislative and outreach strategy.
