Winston & Strawn LLP announced that a team of leading attorneys in the field of international arbitration recently joined its Washington, DC office.
The team, which has extensive experience in Latin America, includes partner Paolo Di Rosa, counsel Gaela Gehring Flores and associates Tomás Leonard and Manuel Garcia.
The team followed partner Ronald E.M. Goodman, a renowned lawyer in the field of international arbitration, who joined Winston in 2004 and who heads its Washington office international arbitration practice group.
Winston & Strawn's international arbitration practice has been recognized by Legal 500 as one of the premiere arbitration and dispute resolution practices in the world.
The Washington office's arbitration group provides dispute resolution services to private sector clients as well as sovereign clients, in all types of international commercial arbitration, as well as disputes between investors and states under investment treaties.
Mr. Di Rosa will head the Latin America international arbitration group in the Washington, DC office. In addition to his experience in international arbitration and litigation, he has advised foreign governments on a range of public international law matters. Earlier in his career Di Rosa headed the Office of the Legal Adviser for Western Hemisphere Affairs at the United States Department of State.
