Lowenstein Partner NamedTo NJ Committee On Jury Charges

Christopher S. Porrino, member of the Roseland, NJ-based law firm Lowenstein Sandler PC, was named recently to serve on the New Jersey Supreme Court's Committee on Model Civil Jury Charges.Mr. Porrino will serve the committee through August 31, 2006.

Members of the Committee on Model Civil Jury Charges are selected for nomination to the committee from among all practicing lawyers in the state of New Jersey. Those appointed by the Supreme Court of New Jersey to serve on the committee pool their knowledge and experience to draft new, and improve existing, model instructions for jurors in civil cases. These model jury instructions are utilized by lawyers and judges statewide and form the basis of jury instructions given in most every civil case tried to a jury in the Superior Court of New Jersey.

Mr. Porrino is a member of Lowenstein Sandler's Litigation Department and White Collar Criminal Defense Practice Group. He concentrates his practice in complex commercial litigation and white collar criminal defense.

Mr. Porrino represents corporate and individual clients nationwide in business disputes, criminal matters and internal investigations involving insurance fraud, bank fraud, securities fraud, tax fraud, antitrust and political corruption. He also defends lawyers, accountants and physicians in professional disciplinary matters.
