Black Caucus Foundation President Set To Join Arent Fox PLLC

Arent Fox PLLC has announced that Weldon J. Rougeau will join the firm's government relations practice as counsel, effective December 1.

Mr. Rougeau is currently President of the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation, Inc., a non-partisan foundation focused on research, leadership and economic and public policy development. He has more than 30 years of experience in governmental affairs and compliance issues.

Mr. Rougeau has an extensive background in law, government, financial services, higher education, civil rights and health care. At Arent Fox, he will work closely with the firm's clients seeking to navigate the legislative and policy arena, as well as counsel the firm on overall strategic initiatives.

At the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation, Inc., Rougeau interacted with members of the Congressional Black Caucus, state legislators, other elected officials, business leaders, foreign governments, leaders of minority-focused organizations and organized labor.

Arent Fox also has announced the additions of Leonard M. Wolf as a member and Don M. Tellock as counsel to the New York Office.

Mr. Wolf concentrates his practice in the areas of litigation, bankruptcy, debtor-creditor relations, workouts, and secured transactions. He represents debtors, trustees, secured and unsecured creditors, and equity holders. He represents one of the world's largest international banking institutions in real estate litigation, loan restructuring, and bankruptcy work.

Mr. Tellock focuses his practice on privacy, Internet regulation, e-commerce, data protection, and litigation issues. He counsels companies in all aspects of conducting business over the Internet and represents companies in e-commerce and complex commercial litigation.

Arent Fox has announced its affiliation with Douglas K. Cooper, a seasoned automotive attorney with nearly three decades of experience in the industry. He will be counsel with Arent Fox and resident in Detroit.

Mr. Cooper has extensive background in corporate law.At Arent Fox, he will counsel the firm's automotive and other Michigan-based clients.

The addition of Christopher J. Rillo as a member, John R. Dwyer and Keith M. Schwartz as counsel, and Stephen P. Candelmo, Roxanne A. Esch, Charles Ferguson, Lisa Miller, Patrick W. Neal, andJeffrey Rothleder as associates to the Washington, D.C. office was also announced.

Mr. Rillo joins as a partner in the Labor and Employment and Litigation practice. He focuses his practice on ERISA and employee benefit litigation, fiduciary counseling, and plan administration.

Mr. Dwyer, joining as counsel, focuses his practice on advising clients on the many regulatory and transactional legal issues faced by drug, device, and health care services companies when they experience accelerating growth.

Mr. Schwartz joins as counsel in Arent Fox's Real Estate group. He has extensive experience in lending, including representation of major lending institutions in connection with nationwide commercial real estate loans.
