Theodore (Ted) Ruthizer and Mark Koestler and their team of business immigration attorneys have joined Kramer Levin Naftalis & Frankel LLP in its New York office. This group, is comprised of six attorneys dedicated full-time to corporate immigration matters involving the transfer of foreign executives, managers, professionals and performing artists to the United States in both temporary and permanent visa statuses.
Mr. Ruthizer and Mr. Koestler will be joined by special counsel Naomi Schorr and associates Matthew S. Dunn, Jennifer Raiola Danzo and Andrew G. Blau.
Mr. Ruthizer, with more than 25 years of experience in the field, is recognized as one of the country's leading immigration lawyers. He is past president and general counsel of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). He is also a Lecturer in Law at Columbia Law School, where he teaches an advanced seminar in immigration law and policy.
Mr. Koestler has developed a national reputation in the handling of immigration law matters in the areas of advertising, e-commerce, theater and film. He recently completed his term as the 2003-2004 chair of AILA's New York Chapter and has lectured frequently at AILA's annual conference.
