Marc A. Lieberstein has been named a Partner of the firm. Mr. Lieberstein is a member of the firm's Intellectual Property and Technology Practice Group and is located in Pitney Hardin's New York office. His practice focuses on intellectual property litigation in the areas of patents, trademarks and copyrights, including related e-commerce, domain name, trade secrets, unfair competition and commercial litigation. His work also includes providing counseling and opinions to aid clients in effectively procuring, protecting and enforcing their intellectual property, copyright and trademark prosecution, opposition and cancellation proceedings in the United States Patent and Trademark Office, and all types of intellectual property and software licensing.
Mr. Lieberstein is an active member of the New York State Bar Association Intellectual Property Section and International Trademark Association, where he has lectured and participated in presenting programs on various intellectual property issues. He is a frequent lecturer and coordinator of programs related to the practice of intellectual property law and litigation.
Mr. Lieberstein received his B.A. from the State University of New York at Albany and his J.D. from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. He is admitted to practice in New York and Connecticut.
