McKenna Long & Aldridge LLP has named T. Mark Flanagan Jr. as national managing partner of the firm. Based in the firm's Washington, DC office, Mr. Flanagan assumed the Managing Partner role on July 1.


In addition to continuing his role as a partner with the Litigation Practice representing clients in complex civil and criminalfraud matters, Mr. Flanagan is now responsible for all aspects of the financial performance and policies of the firm, as well as overseeing its day-to-day operations.

Prior to joining McKenna Long & Aldridge, Mr. Flanagan served as assistant United States attorney for the District of Columbia where he practiced as a federal criminal prosecutor. He also served on the staff of the Select Committee on Assassinations of the United States House of Representatives, which investigated the death of President John F. Kennedy.
