Margaret Gallagher Thompson, chair of Cozen O'Connor's trusts and estate planning practice group, was recently elected as a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC), a professional association of approximately 2,700 lawyers and law professors from the United States and abroad.
ACTEC Fellows are selected on the basis of professional reputation, ability in the trusts and estates field and contribution to the field through lecturing, writing, teaching and bar activities.
Ms. Thompson concentrates her practice in tax and estate planning for individuals and charitable organizations, and succession planning for family-owned businesses.
Cozen O'Connor member Christopher C. Fallon Jr., recently was elected a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation. Established in 1955, the American Bar Foundation is an honorary organization of attorneys, judges and law professors whose careers have demonstrated outstanding dedication to the welfare of their communities and to the highest principles of the legal profession. Fellowship is limited to one third of one percent of lawyers licensed to practice in each jurisdiction.
Mr. Fallon is a member of the firm's subrogation and recovery department and concentrates his practice in property insurance and personal injury litigation.
