Kelley Drye & Warren LLP has announced the addition of intellectual property partners Steve Szczepanski and Mary Jo Boldingh to the firm's Chicago office. Mr. Szczepanski and Ms. Boldingh previously were shareholders of the firm Jenkens & Gilchrist.

Mr. Szczepanski and Ms. Boldingh have extensive expertise in large patent litigations, with cases in a range of disciplines such as polymer chemistry, telecommunications, electromechanics, MRI technology, Internet software and medical diagnostics. They have handled numerous prominent cases in a broad range of industries and courts throughout the country. Both are widely recognized experts in the patent law arena, and are frequent authors and speakers on a variety of intellectual property law topics.

The addition of Mr. Szczepanski and Ms. Boldingh reflects a significant expansion of Kelley Drye's intellectual property practice, with broad capabilities in the enforcement, licensing and procurement of patents, trademarks and copyrights, technology and computer software, and addressing grey market counterfeiting, trade secret and advertising disputes.

The move also bolsters the continuing growth of the Chicago office, which has nearly doubled in size during the past two years. The firm's Chicago office has attorneys specializing in commercial litigation, corporate law, products liability, telecommunications and white collar and internal investigations, as well as intellectual property.
